The Business Card

 

How do you attract good business with a catchy business card? In an age of social media, when some airlines allow you to choose your seat by viewing the Facebook profile pages of the persons that are seated near to you – how relevant is the antiquated business card?

Truth is it can cut half the unnecessary conversation out and allow you to skip the who do you work for, what position, what’s your number/email etc and go right to the important questions – how can we work together, or how can what you do help in what I do? The beauty of the business card is that it goes right to the source of what is MOST important. It should reflect in essence who you are and leave the holder not only with your contact info but also with the curiosity and will to reconnect in the future. A good business card will stay on the holder’s desk until the pick it up and call you, the creator of that card.
